AYSO Region 880 Spiritwear
Sporting Essentials is offering a variety of AYSO Region 880 branded items for sale as a fundraiser. Money will go to help grow our player and coaches clinics that we offer free each year. We did 5 weeks last year and hope to expand the program further next year. This program teaches players and coaches advanced skills while having a lot of fun.

Download the form, pick out one of the shirts, hoodies, hat or blanket, mail in the form and we will get credit towards next years clinics.

Regional Sponsors
We are looking for a few companies to become Regional sponsors for AYSO, this will help offset the cost of the clinics, help with field and equipment cost and keep registration fees low. It would be  a tax deductible donation, if you have any potential candidates, let us know. We are also looking for a sponsor director to help manage this and potential team sponsorships.

Youth Referee Program
Watch for the return of the AYSO Youth Ref program, ages 12-18. Win Prizes and Gift Certificates at the End of the Season Party (The top 5 Refs in number of games officiated has the chance at a IPOD). Contact John Fortin, Ref Admin (romeo880ref@sbcglobal.net)

New Clinic dates added!

Fall Season starts Sept. 8th
Schedules should be available by Monday (teams still being finalized this week, we are still short a few coaches). Our fall registrations numbers are again higher then the year before. Please keep in mind a takes a lot of volunteer work to put together a program of this size. U14 had grown to 6 teams and U19 to 5 teams for this fall!

Coaches will be calling their palyers over the next week, please give them until August 29th before calling to find out who your coach is.

Picture Day on September 29th.

HELP

We are still a little short on referees. If you are willing to referee at least 4 of your child’s games, contact John Fortin (786-0833) and he will get you set up.

We should have at least one parent referee for each team, then everyone should only have to referee a few games each season. Its easy and it lets the coach, coach. Coaches are not allowed to coach when they have to referee a game. Your games will not have referees if people do not sign up. Do your part!
